Product Name :
Chondroitin Sulfate Fluorescein, MW 50k

Classification :
Polysaccharide / Chondroitin Sulfate Fluorescein, MW 50k

Description :
Chondroitin Sulfate Fluorescein is a fluorescently labeled polysaccharide polymer. Chondroitin Sulfate is labeled with fluorescein (FITC), Ex/Em wavelength 494/518 nm. Purity: >95% powder. Degree of substitution: 1 mol % substitution and at least one dye molecule per polymer. Chondroitin sulfate with other fluorescent dyes or biomolecular probes may be offered through custom synthesis.

Properties:
Chondroitin sulfate chains are unbranched polysaccharides containing two alternating monosaccharides: D-glucuronic acid (GlcA) and N-acetyl-D-galactosamine (GalNAc). Chondroitin sulfate from terrestrial animals is almost exclusively composed of non-sulfated (O) and monosulfated (A and C) units, while in marine species the proportion of disulfated (D and E) units is higher. Chondroitin sulfate A is sulfated at carbon 4 of the N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) sugar, also called chondroitin-4-sulfate Chondroitin sulfate is highly soluble in water.

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
